I see what your saying mate. To be perfectly honest you only get Parkhead bouncing like that for European nights or O/F matches(now gone of course). I always loved the away trips much better.....you got a true feeling off genuine supporters, supporters who you know who will follow through thick and thin. As one of the lads said there on the clip you get to meet people who you only ever see at the football and sometimes its only a "awwright" in the passing but thats the football life.

Fortunately Gernasher i don't suffer Envy/recentment @ all, social vampire tackle that stuff and not my bag(but for the record i was somewhat no-plussed about Chelsea not caring for Mourinho much), whatever life throws is still never the less intresting and day/nights @ Maine Road have certainly been that.... a lot of those 'stay till we die' 20/30k attendants are of the same ilk....this is the city of Peterloo massacre and suffregetts....folk are that way on (generaly), Mcllvanney once christened Maine Road the Drury ln of football ...i did'nt need to ask him what he meant.

 

I'm not sure how much more i can say about matters re attendances, yeah the facts are there....very serious people combed them and obviously reached a different conclusion than you, it appears whatever they seen they did'nt want to talk about it but were prepared to put thier $'s on it. Indeed thier still not talking about it, apparently it's not thier way but i know every legal eagle on the plot's been busy for the last three yrs trying to discover what the fucko's happening that will bring 100k visiors to the campus (did you ask me was it a bad thing?)...per week and such a close down on it have citeh got that no fucks can find out (presumably and cash in). Though one little bird that i know gets in boardrooms did tell me the Ground extension and revamp will pale compaired to what will be on campus. You going with local lads is not right or wrong and it's one way of putting it, you could also think Yank Jews or The Sheik rattle and roll firm..you would'nt need to fone a friend wud ya.
