Has anyone tried the new Blackislander scratchless boots ? 2012/13 model as they are from a new supplier.

I would never buy boots of hamish ever again mine falling to bits and i have hardly used them, terrible costomer service when i rang up best he could do is a couple of quid of a new pair, my mates have also started leaking! 230 pound ain't cheap i'd of wished i'd bought some altbergs or lowa's, I won't make the same mistake again.

Try altberg they make a similar boot for£199 but you might have a wait

The reason I ask is I bought a pair of Harkila pro hunter trousers there and they are leaking like a sieve, called Hamish ( never had a problem ) and I have to send them to Harkila. I explained that I dont want another pair as the pro hunter boots I bought both burst after 1 month of wear so I am not a huge fan of Harkila.

I will probably get a credit with blackislander from Harkila so I wondered what these boots were like. I'm going to buy overtrousers and will still have a good few ££ spare.
