WILF 47,990
Name the hasbeens. A could only name 1 oshea. He's ruined the team he doesn't have a clue why on earth would you sell sessegnon he was owa best player, he doesn't play the team I would like to see him playing. Where's cabral and ba gone they should be starting yet there not even on the bench The man does not understand the meaning of the word "mediocre"........he has played with, for and under the best in the game, his work ethic when he was a player in training was second to none...........he is a football fan first and a manager second Its piss easy to blame a manager in football these days but in this case I think he is bang on the money, the players need to look at themselves..........its the case in most run of the mill teams When talent lacks the heart has to replace and if they aint got that then they need a kick up the arse. its easy to blame the manager because it is the manager ATM and he admits it hisself, he's bought to many players some good some shite the point I'm getting at is there is a good team amongst them but he isn't playing the right players... Hears who I would be playing Gardner celuska oshea colback in defence gacerini, Larson, Johnson in midfield altidore, fletcher and sess up front but since the plank sold our best player stick that useless 1 he's just got on loan from Liverpool 4-3-3..... No 1 can say we're going to be relegated because we have some quality players its just taking time to bond.... As for our next games we do have a few hard games but we always have produced the goods against the good teams and play shite against average teams The hammers hold a Q&A type thing where the fans can question the manager etc down the social club, I remember seeing one on you tube where a fan was saying to Harry that the young Frank Lampard was no good and basically that he was only in the team because he was his nephew........Harry said at the time "He will be a top, top player"............cant make him wrong can you after all these years What I am trying to say is, that as much as we all like to crack on about football and what we would and wouldn't do, football men who have been in the game all their life know better than us what they are doing You are a club like us which is made up mostly of those coasting along the latter stages of their career, those who may make it and those who will never really make the very top............ Its like England, no matter who the manager they can never seem to pull themselves together as a group of players........ JMHO
bell 3,606
I think hes the type of manager who will need to go down a division , build for promotion with players he can bring on Thats exactly what he did at Swindon though Stan......thats what got him this job............its sad to say but i just dont think many modern day players have the attitude to embrace the character of a man like Dicanio.........i use the word sad because what we,re really saying is many players today wouldnt embrace the likes of Clough/Shankly etc in todays game.......can you imagine back chatting and copping an attitude witha manager like Clough !!......................I dont think the problem is Dicanio as a man i think the problem is todays footballers as men. You're spot on 'younggg mannnn'........said in a Cloughie type nasal whine.......overpaid......player power to the fore.......the modern day player having their strings pulled by their agents hold all the cards and do what the feck they want. WILF 47,990
Fair play to you supporters, you will see things better than an "outsider"........sometimes a manager and a team just don't gel and it looked bad from the start didn't it........don't think he was a popular choice Plus, old Di Canio don't like it much up north anyway

JMHO Im pretty sure i posted a link of that on here some time ago .........its a shame the club dont do them anymore unfortunately they turned into a bit of a free for all......i think they had to knock it on the head when Alan Pardew had to run out the room fleeing for his life I make you right though we all have a bit of a natter about the footie and think we have all the answers.........these managers have lived and breathed the game all their lives...see the players daily...........................yet we still think we can pick the team from our fork lift truck or milk floats ....................im as guilty as anyone its funny the way the game grips you sometimes. WILF 47,990
Yep, looks like he has gone........in a way I am glad because personally, I find it hard to see a player who I admit is a hero of mine, take such a slagging from a team who ,when he was in his heyday, would not of been fit to lace his boots. I really don't mean that as an insult to Sunderland fans honestly, its just how I feel about PDC....... I wish you all the best with who ever comes in........but obviously not too much
