Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
Now then! Ayup lads, up early for a mooch this morning with the hw100kt and my mate with his lightning got there, he took first rabbit headshot about 20 yards resting on a fence. then I got one standing unsupported at 17yards was sat just about to hop into the bush smacked it bang on the money right next to the eye. then 2 mins later we saw some poachers with 2 rabbits. so we went to my mates other permission, nothing about just 1 bunny that was about 200 yards away and skittish, we went through a hole in some brambles and Charlie bolted 5 yards infront of me! nice to see him but that's the second time our rabbiting had been spoilt. so we went off to the woods and he got a squirrel, and I got a woody. 36 yards into the field standing unsupported I didn't feel confident of a headshot as it was bobbing about a lot, so I took a heart and lungs shot. the bird was facing off to the left stood in the field. took aim and down it went with a couple of flaps and a roll then expired. jobs a good un found the pellet when I was breasting it, not too much damage to the pellet but it went in the left breast and was lodged in the right breast after passing through the heart dragging a few small feathers through with it! good shot I was happy with that. pics are quite far out so as not to lose focus. forgot to pose and photograph the rabbit I shot ah well im sure you all know what one looks like lol cheers for reading, .
