Thank you chaps, your very kind

Gnasher a few of the chaps said that the east stand upper ain't a bad view for a little un so I got a couple of seats in there mate

If your at the Trevor Brooking stand side of the halfway line your above the old chicken run.......you,ll have the away support to your right which aint always nice for youngsters.....but its only Everton theres no hostility with them big girls :D ..................Its an old old stand though mate you still got the big support columns to dodge your head around if your unlucky.......hopefully you get a good view and a lets hope for another lifelong Hammer  .

when i was little i hated not being near the away fans, there was no swearing or scary men shouting, boring! i had a lovely trip to Bellend road and picked up a nice 3 points, thankyou :toast:

Enough said !

Great picture Joe, bet he can't wait to get to school Monday to tell his mates. But come on, west ham?, isn't that classed as child neglect?. Lol

Blimey you must of got there early to get that picture Wilf.....im trying to work out where that is....its not the main car park outside the west stand is it ? i dont remember there being steps there...............no big deal like its just bugging me :D

Not a bad bit of the ground that you would of been directly opposite me im about 30 yards to the right of the telly cameras.......theres not any part of the ground i havent been in at some point i,ll be sorry to leave it i love the place......glad your youngster had a good day i love seeing a lads face light up when they first get into the ground its priceless......at least he saw a few goals, if he,s patient he,ll see a win one day :whistling:

Directors Car park mate, just outside the shop..........saw him there as we walked in so I asked him if he minded and he kindly posed for the picture :D

I was looking across at the boxes yesterday, they got that nice over there now.......the view where we was, was bang on and he experienced some typical hammers crack, can honestly say he loved it.

Walking back down green street he says "West Ham are the best team in the world aint they Dad"..........what could I say :D

Oh it is where i said......aint just directors who park there ;) ......did you see Gold & Sullivans rollers.... golds is silver... " d gold " plate Sullivans is red......i just cant place them steps....yep the boxes are nice you got all the lounges behind them its chalk and cheese one side of the ground to the other.......if im honest i still prefer the spit and sawdust of the East Stand its still got that raw scrappy feel about it.....

A question like that you just got to nod mate they figure it out themself in the end.....didnt we :D .....dont stop us singing our hearts out for them though does it....and if he grows up a proper Hammer it wont stop him either

Yes mate, nice bits of kit those rollers............one thing that did catch my attention was the amount of german, Italian, French voices I could hear in and about the ground

I think he started to get a sense of what it means to be a hammers fan when he joined in with "we are winning at home, we are winning home......how shit must you be, we are winning at home"

Just for nostalgia purposes I even chanced a six quid dog burger :icon_eek: .........got to say it tasted bloody marvellous

The crack about the ground is still as good as ever mind you, one of the marshalls chatting to everyone round by the supporters club "hello princess, you back again......lovely to see you" to some little girl who was out with her dad :D blinding!!

He was at me about when we are going next....... Tuesday night would have been a cheap night as it will be just £30 for me and him but he has Ju Jitsu that night and I like him to train but I don't think it will be too long before the next

I will give you a shout when we are going next and buy you a cup of tea if your about ;)

Two tidy goals from that under-rated Baines kid

They looked much better on the telly than they were, any random sunday league keeper could have saved them.......he just passed them into the net.

A lesson in how to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory

More than two major professionals were saying one them could'nt have been stopped by any keeper they knew about...just shows.

I saw that on match of the day, they obviously watched it on the telly too matey because honestly, it gives the hammers too much credit to suggest they were good free kicks......they were weak as f**k goals to concede take my word for it

Or you just pass it over when the keeper is badly sighted, which is what it looked for all the world like to me......it was square on both times, about 25 yds out, the wall was moved well back, no real pace on the ball, plenty of room to get it up and down.........honestly, they really were not that good.

But, by all means, call them great free kicks if you want to ;)

Fair enough, all I am saying is, if I did nothing but play football 5 days a week if I could not get a ball up and down and on target in the space & angle that free kick had then I would turn it in.

Putting a goal away with split seconds to think and a big centre back bareing down on you is a totally different thing to lining up a bread and butter dead ball........but others know better than me I am sure but we all see things different ;)

Anytime soldier  ....mind you, your probably more of a fan than me at the moment im slacking this season only been to a few games........anyway i,ll bend the little lads ear and keep him loyal to the claret and blue.....kids like me they tend to use me as a bit of a climbing frame :D ............I think its great to see good old traditions like father and son trotting along to the match good on you.

The " winning at home " chant started in the championship a few years back if you remember the bad home run we went on........it was the same season the " we play on the floor " chant cropped up to the same tune ironically enough

But not a totally different thing to eyeballing the goalkeeper for your moment.

Don't know much about "eyeballing" goal keepers.......personally, I was always more concerned on where I wanted to put the ball in the net but I only played low standard stuff so maybe "eyeballing" is more a pro thing :D
