Got two goldfish and a small koi in a 120 litre tank at the minute:

Sometimes I think I'd like to keep something more exotic, but on the other hand I love the characters the goldfish have..

Koi will be staying until he's too big for the tank, if I've got round to putting a pond in it'll go in there, if not I've got an agreement with the shop I bought him from where I can take it back and exchange it for a smaller one again.

I'd also like to get some plants, but from what I've read the goldfish will wreck any live plants I put in with them.. Does anybody know if you can get realistic looking artificial plants? The ones I've seen in the likes of pets at home are tacky and look false..

I would love a pond of koi again, so relaxing....we had a massive one at our old house, raised pond about 8ft deep, 8ft long and about 5ft wide...unreal pond  full of koi, goldfish, sturgeon, golden orfe, shubumkins and ghost koi. If i had the dosh i would get a build started here

Some of the biorb plants are fairly realistic....a lot of people say some of the silk plants also.....................choose the right plants though and you might as well just get real ones.
