Carraghs Gem 1,675
some nice little villages about --just looked at a bungalow at burgh le marsh 3 mile out of Skegness -- on at 92k the agents said they want a quick sale and would accept 86k loads of land open fields to rear .. ready to move in .. round me the same place would be around 200k ... ----------------theres feck all work wise round there and some of the towns are shit .. some good stretchs of beach for sea fishing/dog walking --pleny of fishing lakes ..plenty of land for lurchers. and terrier work.for a young family looking to the future I`d say it no good for a retirement place its got a few things going for it cheaper housing being the main thing ..in the past few weeks looked at houses at anderby creek, alford ,burgh, mumby, and hogsthorpe all nice little villages .. Plenty of work in Lincolnshire if you have a skill, or even if you don't. In my time there I worked as a tractor driver, dairy farm worker (milking and tractor driving), stockman on a pig unit and as an HGV driver. There is the large gas works and oil refinery at Immingham and various other factory jobs. And between jobs theres plenty of unskilled agency work especially around spalding .. Lots of factorys although if you want something cushty try and get work in keith butters in spalding.. Piss easy work even if its a little dull... Presuming they still exist
