Dont think thats correct mate... all 3 of mine were castrated and smaller than your average hob....

They work just as well as any other ferret...   I worked 3 castrated hobs for 3 seasons and they were spot on ....

I thought the same at first mate but his teeth are pretty discoloured and his 2 fangs are both snapped.   I think it's hard to guess an age though?   Feck knows. I'm gonna keep him though

how long do you think hes bean missing for and what wid he have bean eating

Not a clue mate. I don't know how quickly they lose weight?

Just spoke to the lad and he reckons he was spotted in the factory 3 weeks ago and had been sighted a couple of times a week but no one could catch him. There's no food there though. They make car parts :-s

You'd be surprised how far missing ferrets can travel dayle. he may have been stolen and transported across country.

And then escaped in stoke?

If Dayle wants to come down and have a look on the off chance then he is more than welcome.

But I'm sure there's more than one poley coloured ferret on the loose between here and Stirling. Lol.

Keep it gaz, get some good grub down it and should be a usefull member of the team. I reckon it could be one of this years young. Got a hob from this year and he dwarfs all the others so just could be a big young hob that had to fend for its self and lost the weight.

Id get him to a vet... youd be surprised how many people get their ferrets microchipped... especially the pet owners...

And if he is microchipped... obviously youd be wanting to rehome him  ...

If not... then keep him...

Will they charge for scanning for a microchip?

I would happily rehome I'm if he's chipped but I aren't Paying a consultation fee to find out he isn't! Lol.

Edited to add - do they deserve him back if they can't securely house him?
