WILF 46,817
I voted to ban it in certain places, if a motorcyclist cant walk in a garage with his smack hat on then nobody should be able to have their face covered, same in courts of law BUT an outright ban is a slippery slope IMHO, once you let the government start f***ing with peoples religious beliefs then you are opening up a can of worms. A complete ban is a juicy titbit for the masses to keep the plebs quiet, stuff the burka.....get rid of all this politically correct nonsense thats lets folk shelter behind the word "racist" and makes ordinary folk afraid of their own shadow when talking about about other races. The burka is small potatoes, its the thought police we should all be worried about JMHO

Born Hunter 17,763
I want to say ban it outright or at the very least ban it in public but the liberal in me says ban it in certain places. I don't believe we should bend the rule of law for foreign religious practices but equally I don't believe the state should remove any of our freedoms. The burkha has become a symbol of Islam amongst the native Britons, to ban it would appease an increasingly alienated native population.
