BORDERSCOT 3,816
Quality pups be nice to see how they get on in a year or so's time I'm sure they will do ok mate,..we only catch a few rabbits,.. here and there. I've bred these collified jukels, to be handy wee net watchers/mouchers, etc. Doubt there will be many all nighters on the shushis,.. or coursing black tips on the big lands for these mutts Just opportunistic hunters,...a bit like me... All the best, Phil. Banjo Are you keeping this pup Phil...??? Sure is a wee cracker.... Quote Link to post

Phil Lloyd 10,738
Been looking after young Swifty for a ferreting pal... I gifted him the bitch pup, bred out of my cur, prior to his holiday abroad,... now it is her turn to leave home.. This has been a quiet litter,..no problems or dramas,..just great fun, watching each whelp develop its own unique character. Obviously you get a bit attached to the youngsters,...it would be strange not to,.but, it is a big old world out there. The sooner they get socialised and become familiar, with all the trials and tribulations that face a modern lurcher,.the better... So,.nearly all gone,.done and dusted,....just one wee bitch remains with me....hopefully,.forever... ] Edited October 8, 2013 by Phil Lloyd 8 Quote Link to post

This time next year,..we will see if my gut feeling has paid off.... Not many breeders would either bother to do that, or be able to assess the individual pups in this way. In an ideal world, all pups and new owners would be compatible with one another: there'd be far fewer unwanted dogs around if this was the case. 3 Quote Link to post
