Automatic Feeder For Flight Pond

Recommended Posts

Anyone got any recommendations on a good brand to go for - and using them generally?

Most of them seem to scatter the feed in all directions which would be no good if the feeder is at the side of the pond.

Had a look at some auto feeders from ceballa (not sure if spelling is correct ) a couple of years back. They had some that shot feed in a straight line for about 25 feet if memory serves me correct. I didn't buy them in the end so can't say how reliable they were.

Let us know how you get on.

Bell.

Would be a good shout normally, dymented, but the pond is an old pit hole so goes deep relatively quickly. Anything fired more than 6 feet off the bank would not get eaten.

Use a bit of ply screwed to the legs of the feeder to deflect/direct the spread.
