dusk til dawn 169
My bitch is 27mnths old and never come in season shes a picture of health, I don't want pups and/or the hassle of her coming in season but at the same time I don't think I would like her to be barren... and no I couldn't of missed it. so if anyone has experience of there bitch's 1st season being a bit later than the norm I wouldn't mind hearing about it thanks in advance.. RossM 8,119
My bitch never broke Dow till her she was 3 and at the time I was looking after a dog lurcher, don't know if it was anything to do with hormones or something but seems strange it may have took that to bring her in. skycat 6,173
I had a bitch who never came into season until she was 4 years old. Then came in once a year. Bred from her at 6 years old, and again at 9. She had pups like shelling peas and was a brilliant mother to her pups. Wish I had some like that now: they all come in every 6 months like clockwork 3 Quote Link to post
