Lucky in his day was IMO very clever dog with a distinctive running style, I liked this dog when I saw it on tape  very fierce indeed on a hare, but much has been said since about the dog apparently chucking the towel in, dont know whether its true or not youd have to ask the coursing lads who knew the dog and saw it running in person.

Cheers mate. I have just bought a pup whose sire was a black and tan saluki X Grey type dog, the lad had him off travellers and apparently this dog was out of the dark destroyer

Pups about 5 1/2 mnths now, Black and Tan dog, he is 22 now but i think hell make 25 / 26. The sre was a bog dog. The bitch was 3/4 grey 1/4 collie (Hancock). (i know he has produced some shite but he has produced some good dogs as well). I got him from up north, off a genuine lad who works those dogs all the time, regardless of the time of year (not my cup of tea). but he didnt go out with the intention of buying a pup from the dark destroyer, he was offered it as an adult off some travellers.
