If we take it that each star is a sun and each sun has a solar sytem? Then what is out there is little pockets of solar sytems with nothing inbetween? Does that mean that each sun is in a fixed position or do they float around interstella space?

The whole galaxy of stars we're in is rotating on its axis at a fair old lick mate.. It's also moving away from the centre of the universe and in a few million/billion years will collide with the neighbouring Andromeda galaxy..

The whole galaxy of stars we're in is rotating on its axis at a fair old lick mate.. It's also moving away from the centre of the universe and in a few million/billion years will collide with the neighbouring Andromeda galaxy..

If that is the case? Then is not the Andromeda Galaxy not moving away from the centre of the universe also?
