FUJI 17,327
Had the dogs out real early today as I had an early morning appointment to attend,my lads had the remainder out before work, well all bar one as she was out lamping last night and is as lame as a coot, infact she's heading off to the vets it's that serious...part & parcel of keeping lurchers so what will be will be? My 3rd eldest son is only in further education for 3 days per week so he has had Don & Co out behind the bike and I headed off across the road to the beach lol with the pups & the Pom..thankfully ALL four of my lads are as fooking daft as me when it comes to hunting and they know if you want the dogs to be half decent then it's no good leaving them in their beds all day so they all muck in and do their share..to be fair I personally ain't noticed much difference having two more mutts here, they still ain't 100% settled in the kennel but they weren't in their own kennel either before I brought them home..anyways I'd just like to say a massive thanks to EVERYONE who has pm'd me or rang me personally offering me all and everything to help me out with the pups, from South Wales, the North East,Scotland,Yorkshire,Lancashire and probably everywhere in between I truly am overwhelmed..in a worst case scenario which leaves me having to rehome my pups I have already found the home I'd like Fife to go to,the lad knows the craic and I've given him my word..back to today lol..a few pics from this afternoon :-) 2 Quote Link to post

FUJI 17,327
i really hope everything works out for you andy whatever you choose to do cracking pics again Thanks matey,it will be an absolute last resort having to rehome them but you have to be realistic,I can't work all these, train them etc to their full potential on my own BUT if my lads can somehow find time before and after work etc to help out as they usually do we 'may' manage or then again we may not lol..I've had people say to me keep the young uns and get rid of the old dogs but again looking at the big picture my older dogs are all working to a standard I'm happy with and at the end of the day these sapling could be shite?..you just don't know as there is no guarantee they will make the grade and if I did get rid of the old dogs and kept the pups and they were shite I'd end up with fook all and at my age I may never again get dogs of the standard 'albeit poor' that I currently have?..i will do what I believe to be best for both myself and the dogs...if I ain't in the local A-Ward for mental problems lol I will know how things are going within a week I guess? Cheers again I appreciate it. 1 Quote Link to post
