alright lads I was just wondering if you could on paper have any mix of lurcher as a all rounder what would it be personally id go for a 1/4 deerhound 1/4 whippet 1/2 greyhound this is just too see what people's views are cheers !!!

suppose on paper, a 1x pit x grey x coursing dog, if it came out right you got everything (speed,stamina,guts,power,) should catch+kill anything on 4 legs

suppose on paper, a 1x pit x grey x coursing dog, if it came out right you got everything (speed,stamina,guts,power,) should catch+kill anything on 4 legs

 

Deffo does produce some good dogs if bred right....

yh saluki bull grey do sound perfect on paper but it's luck of the draw with em what % would u go for 1/2 grey 1/4 bull 1/4 saluki ?

yeh , but as its or should be well bred coursing dog, and well bred 1x pit xgrey, you still got good chance of getting a dog that will catch most stuff, 1/4 bullx 3/4 grey are fast dogs, so that added coursing stuff, got to be better wind+feet. But yes any pup you need luck.

I wanted a first cross collie so bought one...I didn't go and buy a whippet and post shite on here saying I wish a had a collie cross....

maybe its because they dont have an allround lurcher in there kennels

or maybe the particular breeding there after isnt available so they've gone for there 2nd option you could be waiting for ages for the right cross
