I don't know walshie I caught some of the evidence on the news it did seem abit far fetched but been proved innocent so let the man get on with his life I say.

I've just drove past the court where William Roache is and seen Michael le Vell outside holding a sign saying,

'Give the b*****d the chair!'

Michael Le Vell shouldn't celebrate too soon....I've just heard they're filming two endings

Although Coronation Street actor Michael Le Vell has been cleared of all the charges against him, it's not all good news.

His comeback storyline involves an affair with Fiz.

Just heard that on the radio. Doesn't seem right to me, but then the jury hears more facts than we do.

I'd spend every penny i had making sure the folk with there accusations stood trail....if they are proved to be telling lies then i'd want them imprisoned for a lengthy time.

I read somewhere that jims davinsons lost earnings amounted to 280k...

Corrie are said to be "looking forward" to writing him back in the script. He's been out for 7 months - that's a lot of money to lose apart from the worry over all of this

I hope the lying tramp who made up these stories goes to jail.

Agree

They'll walk unpunished as usual mate but yes IMO they should be punished. I'm all for the death penalty for paedophiles and rapists but I think in cases it should be left until after the court case before the media get to pounce on people that way innocent men or women can live a life after the trial, seems to be a fad accuse a famous person and you'll make money granted there is a lot of beasts that should fall under the hammer and are guilty but some are also innocent. I don't read papers or watch the news so don't know the inns and outs but if the mans innocent then he's innocent and that's it for me.

qoute
' But the court heard that medical experts who had examined the girl had found no clear physical evidence that she had ever been sexually abused'.

'When she was examined two years after the last alleged attack, tests indicated that she had not had full sex, the jury was told'.

8 females on the jury

after first putting the shout-up and getting charges knocked back the girl had flashbacks, not before.Presmably her flashbacks contained enough trigger words and had little to do with the female instructress of a confidence building seminar she had become enamoured with, who openly disclosed she had been raped and gone on to become a model.

Turner had nasty divorce

And I just heard that the verdict was unanimous on all 13 counts. If there had been anything iffy there, I'm sure it would have just been a majority.

After sitting on jury duty a while back i can assure you if it was unanimous then it was clear cut.....:thumbs: ..he had 8 women on the panel which in a rape case would have been very worrying indeed for him if he had any thoughts in his mind that he had acted inappropriately at anytime.

I have sat on a jury and it wasn't unanimous just some people are too weak to stick with it. Also it is well known in rape cases that women are far harsher on the victim then the rapist. Men are far more likely to convict and women more liable to see the victim as having 'asked for it'

The girl disclosing there was big gaps in the time-line of the abuse did'nt stand-up well, a paedophile rapist don't stop unless they have another victim to have a go at, the absense of other victims under such prolonged and large exposure don't prove much, other than that's the difficult bit to execute when trying to fit a relative up.
