Section 1 Shotgun

Vermin is all I have against mine, 8 shot Benelli.

 

Interesting. I thought they didn't think that was good reason. Cheers. I'll stick that on my application as well as target.

 

 

Didn't have any issues this end, I do a fair lot of keepering so that may have swayed the balance.

Can you use a section 1 shotgun the same as a normal shotgun? With regards as to where you can use it? or is it like a FAC on closed conditions? Also does it go on your FAC or SGC?

It goes on your FAC and is subject to whatever conditions might be imposed on it.

Territorial conditions do not apply to section 1 shotguns.

 

HO guidance states...........

 

d) (Section 1) Smooth-bore guns

10.48 In the case of an application in respect of a smooth-bore gun to which section 1 of the

1968 Act applies, it will not be necessary for specific areas of land over which the applicant

has permission to shoot to be examined where section 2 shotgun cartridges are used.
