highlander 0
There are hundreds off the little f*ckers up here. I hate pulling spines out the dogs nose. Had one in a release pen got the bugger in the live cage he had killed a few birds in the first few nights. Then I got his mate and the rest of the gang I had 10 in a week at the same pen inside and out. Regards highlander.

MikeTheDog 153
i cant seem to let my dogs off the lead tese days without them finding and destroying hedgehogs ! Many years back we had a collie cross that would worry them and get covered in fleas, no frontline in them days . A previous lurcher would bring them into the house and put them in her bed... bullet 125
tell me if im wrong, but im sure i heard it on the news the other day that hedge hogs, amongst a few other animals, were named as being endangered, on a recent anoucement, very sad, sounds like us british folk then i guess, were getting endangered by the day! Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Here in Wiltshire ,gods own country,we have hundreds of hedgehogs .They are not endangered here . My terriers have developed a taste for killing them with every generation teaching the next !.They are not the strict worm and slug eaters you would expect ,they are very much opportunists ,as are most creatures and will tackle frogs and chicks if given the chance .They can and will climb a vertical wall albiet in a corner .Once dug a ferret that wouldnt leave a hedgehog in a rabbit hole .To be honest ,i didnt even know they were protected and have trapped a great many over the years, using the body of a previous capture to lure another to its fate . Guest Ditch_Shitter
DITCH, the country is full of them mate ..... Know what, mate? My instant reaction to that statement was; " Really?! " But then, a second later, I remembered that I personally know of SIX active badger sets within a One Mile Quadrent of this f*cking chair! Four of them within a few hundred yards. One within fifty. If I could be arsed to look for the ones in the other three quarters? God alone knows how many there must be. And ye wonder why I've never seen hide nor hair of a hotchi here?
