I know mate, but we've got my mates gold cards, includes members bar.... It might be a little nippy in Febuary lol.. The last game I watched up there, we didn't bother with our seats, stood on the pitch side and put Fin up on a wheelie bin... It was right beside the bar and pasty shop... Happy days lol... Same as our school Gnash, we had a good football team but we weren't posh enough to have a decent rugby side lol Played in a 7's tounament at St Peters school, it was basically our football team lol.. We were dicked every game, had players off for tripping, fighting, arguing with the ref lol.... they were glad when we were out in the first group games and back in the mini bus to scumsville lol... gnasher16 30,024
You might like ozy rules footy gnash,, I sat with ozy lads a few years ago watching some cup game,,, and honestly thought what a great sport,,, it's played on the biggest pitch of any ball sport I believe,,cos its a cricket oval That looks almost like a wind up that game dont they have to bounce an oval shaped ball as they,re running ....surprised they dont put trip wire down as well !!......And theres about 12 lots of goalposts .....sports like that just look messy to me i like sports to play out like a story it has to have a beginning a middle and an end.......that just looks a mess from start to finish ...but each to their own. zigzag dan 784
IMG_0169.jpg Not the best quailty picture, but Leicestershire County tour to Canada May 1995. Nice picture Oss , my son is playing against Leicestershire u18s for Warwickshire next week , we just beat them last season 34-28 , at Hinckley , was a good game , looking forward to it . When and where's the game at Dan ?? Oss , its at Rugby Lions ground on Weds 18th , both teams will use it to look at their squads for the up and coming Midlands Championships , we will play Staffs next then Nth Mids , then East Mids , the games are used by selectors to pick a Midlands squad after this then an England u18s after that .My lad was approached by Midlands at the Hinckley game to tell him he was on their radar , although , due to his build of 17st but only 6ft , they suggested he moved from the backrow to prop , hes not keen but may have no alternative ! Feck me is he that big already dan ,,,not long ago he was a tall lean gangly lad,, is he still doing the boxing as well? Tomo , yes hes that big , and eats like an horse ! .He was offered a place , which he started last week in St Helens RL academy so he had to make a choice between the rugby and boxing , he still spars / trains at our local boxing club but as the rugby wanted him to get bigger we couldn't get him matched to fight at 17st at 16 yrs old ! , even so his record was 4 wins from 5 and Im sure someday he will fight again as he loves it , he loves the rugby but admits the feeling when the ref lifts your arm up as the winner is superb .
zigzag dan 784
I'd have loved to have played Prop or Hooker. The only true 1 on 1 with you opposite number in Rugby, but in my day i was too tall. I did try it out one game when our Hooker went to the wrong ground one night and i stepped in. Fu*k me was i pis*ed on. Wish him all the best from me and i hope he goes as far in his Rugby career as he wants to. Thank Oss , much appreciated .

Frann 882
Ive tried getting into football but its just not for me. Leaves me cold but we're all different. I got into basketball (netball ) in the US, won't take the place of rugby but I like the fast scoring. (I know most of my fellow Brits would rather eat their legs than watch it lol)
