old real tree 92
Well guys I'm at a bit of a predicament... I already got a whippet and a lurcher down my kennel and now the Mrs is hinting on getting a small pup for my little girl (3 years old). I'm thinking about a small jack Russel so i can use it for marking/bushing... any other ideas on a small dog that can match what I'm looking for... family dog and marking dog.... Any help please lads.....
TOMO 26,199
We got a terrier pup back in jan,, for my then 3 year old lad,,, as he was scared of my other dog, a lurcher,, we got a border terrier with a bit of patt in its make up, and it's helped him big time. Don't think you could go far wrong with most terriers or cross breads like terrier cross spaniel ect,,, just decide what you do or don't want,, I deffo don't want a dog that goes to ground,,,

old real tree 92
I wanted to buy a beddy x grey pup but the Mrs done some research and thought it would be a bit big lol..... it would be small for a short time. By the time it grew too big everyone would have fallen in love with it.. that was my plan lol.... She soon told me NO !!!!!!
arcticgun 4,548
springer or cocker would be my choice, better temperment for lurchers, although the right terrier would be an asset as well, only problem is if they choose to go to ground, not nice lol
