Guest SJM
I downloaded it Bill and had a fiddle about with the DivX Author programme, it looked good, but I kept getting an error box saying my computer doesnt have enough memory for the software to be able to function correctly so I am going to give that other download Big Fish recommended a try, and if that doesnt work then its back to the drawing board again for all your help so far though guys
higgins 75
SJM the videohelp.com site has articles and guides on converting the different formats, there are encoders there also,i used to always get problems with AVI until i converted them to MPEG* format, i think WMM is choosy about the formats it works with, there are other good DVD making software on Videohelp, but you have to wade through most of the guides to find out which one will do the job you need, then download the tool,i only ever downloaded the free software, just read thru a few of the articles on there,i'm sure you will learn something useful, you may even find the solution to your problem, all the best, Higgins. Guest SJM
Right I am determined I am going to crack this today Anyone know what codecs I might need to fix this wee problem and where I can download them from?
Guest The Big Fish
Apparently this codec is to support mpeg2, done a quick search and found a forum where a fella had the same problem, he downloaded a mpeg2 codec pack, i assume similar to this: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Stinky_MPEG_2_Codec.htm And it worked for him, again worth a try!
