This weeks they were talking about the impact of mink on Our wildlife and how they ESCAPED from mink farms if I remember rightly they were released by some sort of anti group ?

i made the mistake of turning the telly on for the first time in weeks and saw Ellie Harrison telling the world that Otter numbers declined due to hunting and that it wasn't until otter hunting was banned that their numbers started recovering. It's all horseshit - it was in fact a group Masters of otterhounds that got together and reported the decline in numbers and reported it to parliament saying that something was going drastically wrong.

 

Turns out it was DDT chemicals that were causing their decline NOTHING to do with hunting and this is backed up by the Enviroment Agency as well as all the reports at the time. It boils my swede that the BBC come wading into this with "hunting is bad" and that is what the general public pick up on. This whole programme is a disneyfication of fluffy animals and is clearly targeted at surburban idiots.

 

Next week the hare coursing programme will report that gangs of vicious thugs go round stealing anything that is not tied down, threatening farmers and driving over their fields. They will say it is all done for cash - it is purely the BBC capitalising on this time of the year to ram the anti-message down the publics throats. Makes me livid.

 

ALso saw they were advertising a new programme like springwatch called "Harvest" that is going tyo be on next week. Great timing - after it has all finished here. morons.
