BORDERSCOT 3,816
I'm 48 but don't see 50 as any kind of watershed moment....can't imagine I'll be slowing down any.....least I hope not.... Quote Link to post
R.A.W 1,987
I'm glad no one has said my uncle still lamps at 85 , he just drives across the fields open the door and lets the dog out. In a 4x4 mobility scooter If I close my eyes I see paulus trundling across fields in one . just thinking of your dodgy knees mate Quote Link to post

lapin2008 1,587
Unless there is some serious health issue I cant imagine many being 'passed it' at 50 or even 60. My old man climbed kilimanjaro, aconcagua and was going to have a crack at everest at 62 so providing someone isnt particularly unfit theres no reason why they couldnt be going out for a few much later on 1 Quote Link to post

rob190364 2,594
I think it's down to attitude a lot of the time with older folk....some people when they get to a certain age seem to talk them selves into being 'old', almost like they relish being an old codger. And other people only restrict what they do when health dictates....all about attitude! 2 Quote Link to post
