50 ffs still a young man im 52 and lamp some serious hills been out with a couple of lads 10 years younger and the two of them went back to the car and waited on me

Think the bars set a little too low, as I know half a dozen 55 - 65 still lamping and digging

 

I'm glad no one has said my uncle still lamps at 85 , he just drives across the fields open the door and lets the dog out.

In a 4x4 mobility scooter :D

my uncle is in hes late 60s and is out every day with hes guns

tast time i had seen him to show him the pup i got . hes eyes were glowing and he was telling me that he could do with a running dog .. i almost gave him the pup ... i think if you took away hes guns and dogs he wouldent last the year

Unless there is some serious health issue I cant imagine many being 'passed it' at 50 or even 60. My old man climbed kilimanjaro, aconcagua and was going to have a crack at everest at 62 so providing someone isnt particularly unfit theres no reason why they couldnt be going out for a few much later on

I think it's down to attitude a lot of the time with older folk....some people when they get to a certain age seem to talk them selves into being 'old', almost like they relish being an old codger. And other people only restrict what they do when health dictates....all about attitude!

I'm 33 then,,,;) not 46 like it says on my birth cert,,,, like borderscot can't see 50 being an issue , there plenty at it on a daily basis,, look at chalky on here,, think he's just over 60,, and ferreting trapping most days

55 and would have been out this last week if I hadn't got a fecked knee :censored: Dogs aren't fit either as I've been

on short level walks with them only :cray: Next time the moons down I'll be out for sure, even with my knee not improving much, I'm getting stir crazy :yes:
