one thing I try to never do is lift my dog over that is the worst thing I can think of doing to be honest. I suppose it depends on the dog but I know my dog and I know he would expect it all the time and that ain't happening I always let him find his own way now. He usually goes under ha, he can get away with that at the min but not for long now as he is getting to big.

ive tried to get my saluki bitch to jump for a long time but she would not jump to save her life,that went on for 2 years,sliping under gates,runing up and down the fence trying to find a gap.It drove me nuts.THEN about 3 months ago,at the age of 3 years old,she began to jump and now she will fly over fences etc.I just cant make out what it is that clicked in her.

That is a long wait that is!! But at least u got there in the end and she is now the jumper u wanted... Lol I hope mine don't take 3 years to jump that's a few lost bunnies that is haha

most gates iv been through have stones ,rocks ,rubble etc in the landing area ...accident waiting to happen .

I get mine to do a bit in the yard with a dummy and make it a bit of fun for them.

 

 

 

this fella did not want to jump but a bit of throwing a dummy and is happy to jump now.
