Some years ago one of my daughters was confirmed at the local church, now as it happened the night before I had been on a stag do which ended up in a tear up in a club,so Im in church ,hand strapped up and a few scuffs etc anyway on the way out the Bishop of Salford who had conducted the service was at the entrance shaking hands with the congregation as they left in single file,I got to him he held his hand out ,as I went to shake his hand I flinched (hand swollen like a balloon)....the Bishop leans in and whispers"what does the other fella look like" not a royal but as close as we get in Salford
