You think it's possible to go for a lifetime without going anywere else of 3 dogs stig ?

it can be done -not saying 3 dogs will last you without breeding a few litters and holding and testing pups if your first 3 dogs arnt related and with selective breeding its possible out of 5 good dogs you`ll get close to 25 years ...

Every one starts some were not every one knows were to start eg friends with terriers friends of friends etc but i just would not like the idea of buying a pup of the net or for that matter out of the papers etc Surley there are enough terrier clubs shows to gain a foot in the door. , just my own thoughts

And what to do when you are 1000km or more away?

About 90% of the guys i contacted not even answert. So how to get a puppy/dog then?

I can not come some weekends for doing contact first because then the dog/pup will cost me thousends of £.

If the man will take the dog out and let you see it dug to for yourself then I don't see why not. It's all a gamble. 500 up front for a grown terrier ready to start the season or a pup for 200 that you'll end up putting 100s more into not to mention time, effort and bonding for the chance that it may end up in being a dud.

I used those dogs as an example of what can be bought in, 4 famous dogs, and all bought in. If the man let's you see it work then 300 ain't a bad price for a working dog.
