Tornado1979 145
When I apply for my FAC in future and the land I've got permission on is passed for .22LR, what happens if I got another permission do I have to re-apply ? Just trying to fully understand the process, I've understood majority but just confused with this section Edited September 7, 2013 by Tornado1979 Quote Link to post

Tornado1979 145
I would imagine it would carry on mark but having never had fac I couldn't tel you mate Cheers Kev, just confused... before you get FAC you have to have land passed to make sure it safe etc, but after that I'm not sure if they trust your judgement or your only allowed to shoot on the permission you have at time you applied for License. walshie 2,804
While your ticket is still "closed" you have to inform the cops of each bit of land you will shoot on. Only one will go on your FAC though. Once it's an open ticket, you can shoot wherever you have permission. 1 Quote Link to post
riohog 5,712
the law does change ,, but at one time with a closed ticket it used to say any land deemed suitable for that calibre by the chief costable for that area ,, check what it says on your ticket 1 Quote Link to post

Thanks a lot walshie sorry to be pain in backside, How do they decide who has open ticket and closed ? Normally everyone's is closed to start with. VERY occasionally I've heard of people getting their first ticket open, but as Paulus says be a good boy for 3 years and ask them to open it. If not, they will usually open it on renewal. 1 Quote Link to post

quagmire 6
hi My FAC says I can shoot on land which is deemed suitable by the police. One of my permissions had been passed before so all they required was the postcode, however another had not been shot on before so it required a visit. I was told to keep my nose clean put plenty of rounds through the gun and get back in touch in two years to open the license. Oh and I live in cheshire Hope this helps Joe 1 Quote Link to post

No you don't, if your ticket says any land deemed suitable by the chief constable of that area, it means so long as you have permission, and the land is passed you can shoot on it, hope this helps.
