morton 5,368
naive about what morton Aimed at Mooching celt mucker.Because a lad may not have permission he is culpable for all the wrongs of the hunting world, the majority of lads without said permission often leave little evidence of their wanderings, scrotes are scrotes, permission or not, often the lads with the permission are accountable for more shit than the permissionless?. 1 Quote Link to post

Not naive at all, living in an areas thats plagued by lads from away running wherever they like with no regard for anyone or anything. Most landowners round here dont bother ringing plod just chase lads off then get either driven at or threatened..............FACT So i see it as you that is naive I live in an area that as at least 5 estates within a 3 mile radius, plagued by lads would be an understatement,if anything reaches 6 months of age its had more chances than Evil Knievel, lads will seek a gallop,a dig or a mooch irrespective of permission, many honest lads will never be lucky enough to acquire the permission some of us take for granted,at times, they have more respect for what they can put in front of the mutts than the more fortunate amongst us,with permission, the chance to get on the land and work the dogs is that important to them that they go out of their way to make less of a nuisance of themselves than the lads with said permission.Ill take being naive if thats the case,my permission is hard earnt, after years of jumping walls and gates, thus i don,t begrudge others that wear my old shoes. The minority, permission or otherwise are just thieving vandalising scrotes, thats the real issue. 5 Quote Link to post

Huntermanic 22
Never been a coursing man but no what it's about. It was banned by people who have never been or done hare coursing because it is cruel???? Yet pheasant shooting is completely legal, yet pheasants are bred and raised to be shot. I have done plenty of pheasant shooting and I'm a shit shot hence why I don't do it no more. Most of the pheasants I have shot have landed alive, wounded and dying slowly, blood out the mouth, eyes hanging out, 1 and a half wings, you name it. Yet this is not a problem. Hare coursing the dog will kill the hare outright as soon as he catches it, if he catches it or will pick it up and retrieve it to its owner for a quick clean kill. I'm not against shooting a lot of my friends and family do it, I'm just stating unfair play banning one and not the other. Same as fox hunting. That fox, it will be kill within seconds, known fact. A fox hound on its own will switch off a fox in well under a minute. What's a pack of 30 gonna do to it.... Exactly. That's my opinion Proud to be British lads ........ ;-) lol Quote Link to post

Astral 253
Seriously it makes me a tad mad that while this is going on, funding and police boots are being taken away from other slightly more serious crimes, like Domestic violence, rape, murder and thefts.... priorities! I want a dog oneday and I'm worried that the second I get one I'll be branded a criminal and unable to even run a bunny. =( Quote Link to post
desertdog 149
the problem is there is a few who like to be on the other side of the hedge, and the few give attention to the rest, i have no problem with that, driving fields, worrying livestock and threatening landowners, it has been so bad in recent years the farmers have got fed up and shot the hares, the police have had the power to take your car and ban you from driving too for a while,im not sure about taking the dogs,i think there was a case a few years back, where the lad had to get a train home from yarmouth way, because the police nailed him, but because its now high profile joe public will be on the look for what ever,so its up to us to be more vigilant,if you go where you should,nt be, and get caught who,s the fool, im lucky enough to have the ground to work my dogs and i and help out at the farm,it takes hard work to gain trust with landowners, and two minutes to fek it all up through idiots. 1 Quote Link to post
