Right where do i start. My daughters bought me a brocock concept super6 in a gorgeous tiger walnut thumbhole stock for fathers day. I had there names and date of births lasered on the breech original from factory this rifle means alot to me.

Since i have been doing hft with the regulars on here everyone either has the same or similar class rifle. I also have top end rifles but i thought i need to involve my brocock at some point otherwise its just gathering dust.

 

I thought right i either need this tuning or regged to compete at top level i had full trust in this rifle.

First of all i contacted darrin from xtx air. Im not in any way putting this fella down but he was way too busy to look at my rifle i contacted him numerous times and was always 20 rifles deep.

He said he could possibly achieve 30 good consistant shots out of my rifle with a regulator fitted as most of you know thats just not enough for hft.

 

So i done more research and come across this guy Phil Crampton former known as RatWorks he mainly tunes and fits regs to bsa's i messaged him on facebook enquiring about my brocock. He was more then helpfull and insisted i drop it off straight away. As this being hes very 1st he'd tuned he insisted he would do it free of charge yes FREE. So i dropped it off straight away. 90 mile round trip. He quoted me three weeks and it would be ready.

 

So in the last three week phil has keep me posted all along the tune. When i dropped the rifle off it was doing an almighty 15 ft lbs. i have shot less than 200 pellets thru this rifle and when i had it new i had it chroned at 11.7ftlbs.

 

Phil has now worked hes magic today he said your rifles ready so i left at 7pm to collect my rifle. He has given me hes test sheet and hadnt read it till i got it home. Hes test sheet state that it now has an average power of 11.5ftlbs with jsb heavies. And over a 20 shot string it has a 6-7 fps deviance. Now that is a non regulated rifle bear in mind. I used to only get 45 good shots and now im getting 65.

 

Phil has done some great work here. And i fully recommend him to anyone 100%. I will continue to use him for any other rifles. And i will look forward to using my beauty for hft so watch out lads brococks coming thru. ;) if anyone wants phils number inbox me or just search phil crampton on facebook ;).
