hutchey 147
At last I got the night vision to work. Just got to bolt the bits together and then test it. So hopefully it will work well. Keep you posted over the weekend. On the 243 scope thing, I've got til Monday to accept the 30% off offer on a new hawke scope. Quote Link to post

charlie caller 3,654
Forget the Hawke, as tempting as the offer may be, and buy a Nikon, you will wonder why you put up with an inferior scope for so long Quote Link to post
Alsone 789
There's a very good video on scope selection and quality here (this guy really knows his stuff - think 1,000 - 1,850 yard (target) shots with 1st time hits!): 40 minutes but well worth spending the time. Did I say this guy knows his stuff? Edited September 10, 2013 by Alsone 1 Quote Link to post

hutchey 147
That's my 22, setup works well to about 50 yards so I might have to play with the camera settings or try better batteries for the ir light. If I use my red lamp which is much more powerful I can see for over 150 yards easily. Will have a play with it over the next few days. Quote Link to post
hutchey 147
That's a good point and they are only temporarily fixed there for now. You should see the battery size i'm testing with for the camera/screen I've seen one of these Yukon Photon 5x42 Digital Night Vision Riflescope that looks interesting for my 22 Quote Link to post
