I had taken the dogs out over my usual walk today. The spaniel. Bolted a few rabits giving the lurchers a few runs, unfortunately the one she got had mixi. Not promising for the season ahead.

aye not nice when you see myxi on your permission, had it on both of mine 2 years ago and they havn't really recovered, had to go out and find more permission which isn't easy.

I always see the odd one or two.. It never knocks them back bad round here.. Touch wood.. A few often have it and get over it. When ferreting had a few with badly scared eyes that must of been mixi and healed.. Horrible thing that mixi

mixo is a pure c**t lads it was around here at the end of last summer and it hit bad I reckon it will be 2 or 3 years before there is rabbits worth talking about here again that's if it doesn't come back before that. it had a big effect on foxes to with there been no rabbits for them to eat. mixo = shit year for me.

It's every we're around the gateshead area dog must have picked up over 100 rabbits on the permission a have had a drive out other week and a bit crack with the lads and it seems to have spread all over went for a wander last night didint see 1 rabbit

i read something saying its still ok to feed on mixi rabbits but it doesnt seem right feeding your animals with deceased meat. what do you do with the rabbits with mixi
