neems 2,406
We'll always bang above our weight. We have got soft but that's because of our success, like bane said 'victory has defeated you'. If we lose our wealth our people's attitude will change.
Malt 379
Yep, your view is pretty much spot on IMO.. We are weak because we as a nation are divided on absolutely anything and everything.. You can blame successive governments for turning sections of the population against each other and introducing others into the mix for that..
Malt 379
PS, we still have enough nukes and the capability to reduce every single Russian town and city of significance to cinders if he fancies a scrap? There'll be nothing left us us either, but still!
WILF 46,832
If only we had all joined in and helped Hitler it wouldn't matter what Putin thinks cause he would be a train driver or something !! Edited September 5, 2013 by WILF

Born Hunter 17,763
We are certainly not what we were 30 years ago, but we don't kid ourselves on that. Nobody listens to us, hmmmmm not that I'm happy with the commons vote but if parliament had been pro intervention in Syria things would be very different in the middle east this week........... essentially our parliament may have completely changed history. The US would have undoubtable carried out strikes by now but they are stalling and that is entirely because of the UKs stance. Just one example. That's f***ing rich coming from the former soviet union.............. former in no small part due to this little island.
BIG G wheton machine 1,594
it seems were a far way off the men even from the 60s never mind the early half of the 20th century. I think we need a military experienced pm to run th country who will stand up to all the nonsense going on in here as a nation and take no shit from any foreign nation either. and get rid of this xbox protesting watch the Jeremy kyle show for a living phase that's gotten hold of todays society. take the foreign aid payments and use the money to better help our old, properly sick (not the blaggers) and our ex servicemen and women, and send all asylum seekers to fcuk back to the shit holes they left from. and reverse the hunting ban for you mainlnders. but most of all get the nation to man the fcuk up again
