Do you allso condem all the people who go about legitimate terrier work?

Isn't that to get rid of a pest thats causing problems? Couldnt see any pests in the TV programme? Hear what you are saying  and agree with where you are coming from WILF  I just feel like we could all be tarred with the same brush and im sure many will agree that we despatch in the most humane manner possible, yes dogs get injured doing "legitimate" terrier work but as Ive said; its to get rid of a pest. Dont want to totally disagree with your words though - just trying to express my thoughts. :D

One day we will probably all be judged and have a stack of evidence weighted against us by a woman who's face looks like a testing site for Bottox Dart Championships, but until then we should remember that those dog's did what was natural to them, the blokes only gave them the opportunity to use they're in bred ability.

I feel sorry for the innocent victims of the attacks myself and no doubt another nail in the coffin for what was once recognised as the former British Bull Dog/ Band dogge, until it was turned into the fat farting thing it is today.

He was on the radio today. Do you know how he infiltrated the pit world?.... by going to lurcher and terrier shows for 6mths. So hunting folk are in the discussion wether we like it or not...its all over the country now.

As Wilf said, people who allow dogs to hunt and pull down deer, chase a fox till it is caught and killed by lurchers, are just as disgusting as people who fight dogs in Joe publics eyes.

We are forcing poor terriers down holes to come face to face with a fox, just look at the state of some hard terriers faces, terriers would never want to do that to themselves would they? :hmm:

I dont like dog fighting, and would never condone it or the people who do it, cannot bring myself to watch it, but i have come to understand the dogs do it because they 'want' to do it, just as as terrier gets so hyped up when they see the spade and locator, a lurcher when it see's the lamp. These pits get the same about fighting, whether you or i like it or not.

I just remember how the media portayed hunting with dogs, so i now take anything they say...dog fighting included with a pinch of salt and realise that they will blow it all out of proportion to make it look as bad as it possibly could be. We are not in the dog fighting world, so therefore do not fully understand all of the ins and outs and truths behind it, just as Joe Public did/do not about hunting with dogs. We got very annoyed about people who condemned us without full knowledge, so lets not do it to others unless we know the full facts.

All im saying is, you dont have to support these people or what they do, but lets not do to others what we did not like done to ourselves.

I just feel so sorry for the breed, bull breeds, raised properly like any other pet dog, are the most loving and loyal of all dogs.

MOLL.

The programme made interesting viewing, but basically it was complete drivel, with no proof of illegal activities inside the mainland.

I have no doubt whatsoever the bbc is reading this , so maybe they would like to think upon these points.

1.When are you going to do an "undercover" documentary on English dogfighting? You wont, because the main proponents of it, are pakistani,s .

2. Why was there no camera footage of the main fight? when you had spent the entire programme, telling the viewer how "inside" your reporter had got, and how he was "trusted"?Basicaly, because if there was no video evidence, your Reporter could make it up as he went along.

3. When are you going to hand over your female reporter and her accomplices to the authorities? she has broken the dangerous dogs act, by importing a banned breed into the UK, and by allowing the said animal, out in public, unneutered, and unmuzzled.

Your reporter wasn,t from the north east.Nor was he ex"special services"...poetic license, thats all.

Its time you spent MY license money, on helping to solve REAL crime, like children shooting each other with weapons that have been illegal since 1998.

You digust me.Its high time the license fee was removed, and you shabby band of fools were made to work for a living.
