a lot of people also hunt for sport because they enjoy it!! i know i do!! gets the adrenalin going. with regards to the dog fighting there are many rules when done in a professional manner and if the dog does not want to fight it will not scratch and should be sportingly be picked up by the owner. the dogs do like to fight otherwise they would not do it. i dont really condone dog fighting but there are many people out there who keep there pets in worse health condition than these dog fighters. They are fed a top diet and exercised well and the bond between the trainer and dog is a firm bond.

yes it maybe cruel in some people eyes and there is no excuse for the electrecution if it happened but the main focus should be on the backstreet breeders and the thugs who get hold of these dogs and do not train them and neglect them hence end up biting humans! pitbulls are not human aggressive.

your dead right mate, pitbulls are not human aggressive, i dont think the dog fighting fraternity can afford them to be so!.. when i watched the show all they done was paint the dogs as child killers... pictures of the kids with the pitbulls seemed to be veiwed with disgust! WHY? the pitbull probably would have been the family protector... the men that keep fighting dogs keep the best tempermented dogs around (i dont know any dog fighting men but its common sense) i had a bull a few years back and there was no better family dog like him... i didnt get much enjoyment from watching the fights shown but i would have liked to see the sport carried out with tighter rules and regulations so the dogs are safer in the box and also keep out dickheads like that eejit from finland... i wish i was there i would have taken the poor dog for free... poor thing fought his heart out and electrocution was his reward :( ...

I spotted this on another forum and thought what sick b*****ds  Some people will go to any lengths to pinch dogs off other folk

Bogus cop stole my dog

A FAMILY fears their treasured puppy is destined for the brutal dog fighting arena after a brazen thief conned them into believing he was a police officer confiscating the animal.

The family, of Dagenham, have been left traumatised and sleepless.

The 27-year-old mother said the family were in the living room with eight-month-old Staffordshire bull terrier/mastiff cross Max in a cage when a man knocked at the door, claiming to be an officer from the Criminal Investigation Department.

He produced a photo ID card, and said he was there to confiscate Max under the Dangerous Dogs Act.

He forced his way in and stole the dog.

The owner said: "I think they're going to be fighting him, training him to fight. I'm gutted, sick to my stomach."

Anyone with information about Max’s whereabouts can contact Diane Robinson on 07957 308175.

Thats a sensible post all apart from this bit quoted above.....bobby gonzales is far from a dickhead......he is a knowledgable and respected dogman....what makes you think the dog was electrocuted ? because the reporter said so ?

the dog quit and was culled ....you say you would have taken it for free ...and thats part of being a good dogman,he culled the dog so it would never be bred from hence helping to improve quality in the breed.....culling go,s on in all parts of the animal world not just gamedogs.

His only foolishness was dealing with the pricks he did.

As for the "bogus cop stole my dog " article.....what makes them think the dog was going to be used for fighting ?...couldnt have been a very intelligent thief nicking a staff/mastiff cross if that was his intentions !

Hopefully the desperate scumbag will get whats coming....but i think that program the other night has set people jumping to ridiculous conclusions.

good points there mate, perhaps your right.. i couldnt help it, my heart felt for the dog after it looked like it had tried so hard... did it really deserve to be culled?? is there not a saying "there is always someone better round the corner"... to me it looked like he was willing to go forward but lacked the power??? i'm not a dogman in the sense that i keep and work pitbulls but i would have willingly kept that one... probably would have thrown some nice lurchers :)

We know someone who in the1980s had genuine pure Pitt's,he crossed them at time's to greyhounds for foxing lurchers and the lurchers in his words "they were a pain in the arse" for fighting and couldnt be left alone like the pure stuff!

:hmm:

Badger Diggers?

This was a Hunting Site last time I looked ............... What's your problem with the men who when the law allowed removed pests from the ground using the quickest / most humane method?

The difference between a Badger and say a Fox or a Rabbit in terms of nuisance / threat is what exactly?

I am not advocating that anyone should go out and wake Brock up, it is very very illegal to do so these days, but when it was legal what was the problem?

Can you clarify what you mean by "Badger Baiters" let's see if your version is anywhere near reality, and not just the media fuelled bollocks that people swallow.

Not having a go at you, I'm just trying to understand where you're coming from.

I notice it's the Loyalists that get the blame for the death threats!!!
