was that crow an adult bird ???? even if it wasn't great catching ability

the best ive done was my little whippet x which to be honest wasn't that good caught a woodcock in flight out

of a hedge

and lastest last yr was holly dhxgh lamp a woodcock to jump 4 ft and pluck out of the air

witnessed by trevor on here,un scathed so released it and flew off again
