porkybella 284
Hi i only do airgunning now. I used to have lurchers and work them. I fancy ferreting as i cannot keep anymore dogs. I have never tried this or even handled a ferret. Thought id ask my usual airgun friends as dont know anyone in ferreting section. ?? Opinions will be appreciated . Quote Link to post

Lewis Ste 245
I had ferrets before guns and dogs and still love working them on a cold winters morning. Can take big numbers in a morning work but they are great little things forget the stereotype of they being biting little b*****ds they are soft as shit if you handle them 1 Quote Link to post

Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
only had a dabble at ferreting a few times. good fun tho, watching your mates superman-dive down a banking to grab a rabbit in a net LOL just make sure you feed them before you go out, if there hungry and get a kill down the burrow you could be waiting a while for them to have their dinner 1 Quote Link to post

Lewis Ste 245
just make sure you feed them before you go out, if there hungry and get a kill down the burrow you could be waiting a while for them to have their dinner Well how would you feel going to work on an empty belly? Regular feeding each night and you won't go wrong. It's like a right of passage up here if you want to start hunting wether it's shooting or out with dogs you start off ferreting Plus if your not driving it's an excuse to get pissed on slow gin in the morning need anyother info drop me a pm bud Atb Quote Link to post
