Just a reminder that the final Sporting Whippet N.I. event of the season will take place on Sunday 15th Sept @ Dunsilly.

The clubs ''Champion Of Champions 2013'' will take place after the usual showing and racing......

Qualifiers for this are only the Best In Show Winners from the Clubs 6 show this year :

Tracy Gill with RENOIR
John Shaw with BLUE
Carole Hill With BRIAR
Pierce Reynolds with PEACHES
Kirsty Fyffe with OLLIE
& whoever wins BIS at the Open Show on Sept 15th.

Reminder to those who won any of the club's perpetual cups / trophies in 2012. Can you please remember to return them in good clean condition either before or on the day of the show.

The Sporting Whippet Club N.I. will be holding their final show & race event & their Overall Show Champion ofChampions of 2013, on Sunday 15^th September ....see details below:

Whippet Show & Race Day (Pure bred whippets only ) & Sporting Whippet Club N.I. ‘Overall Show Champion of Champions 2013’

Sunday 15th Sepetember, 2013 @ 12 0’clock mid-day.

... DUNSILLY KENNELS, Milltown Road, Antrim. BT41 2JJ

- Admittance _£2.00 Per Adult. Children Free.

- Show Classes & Racing £2.00 each.

- Signing in for racing between 12 - 12.30 pm, no late entries will be taken

* ALL DOGS TO BE TAKEN UP TO THE TENT WHEN BEING BOOKED IN FOR THE RACING * - All dogs racing at this event MUST be muzzled !!

- Grading for the racing at approximately 12.45pm, followed by the usual show classes as follows:

1. Children's Handling
2. Whippet Pup (all whippets under 1 year old)
3. Whippet Dog
4. Whippet Bitch
5. Working Whippet
6. Veteran Whippet ( or whippets 6 years of age or older)
7. BEST IN SHOW (Unbeaten dogs from classes 2,3,4,5 & 6)
8. Members Class (free entry for fully paid up members showing dogs previously shown in classes 2- 6, but unplaced)

Race heats and final to continue after the showing.

* Followed by Overall Show Champion of Champions 2013 *

( Different Judge to the previous 8. Classes!! )

The Club is delighted to announce that Albert Titterington has agreed to let us hold the first qualifiers for the ''FIVE NATIONS WHIPPET CHAMPIONSHIP'' at our event on Sunday.

Both the Open show Champion on Sunday and the Champion of Champions winner will qualify for the first ever ''FIVE NATIONS WHIPPET CHAMPIONSHIP'' to be staged at

The Irish Game Fair at Shanes Castle on Sunday 29th June 2014
