KurtH 74
Hi folks.... Done this many times, but I want to buy a PCP air rifle and I don't know what to buy.... And many of you will say, go to your local fire arms dealer and try a few out..... However, this is not an option as he is a greedy b*****d, who doesn't let you shoot anything and adds £100 to the cost of a weihrauch HW100 compared to every other firearms dealer, despite it being an ex demo..... I've owned a Weihrauch HW98 (lovely springer, very powerful and accurate)....A .177 BSA Lighning Tactical XL (OK)....Daystate Air Ranger .22 (Purchased a tactical stock, ask local firearms dealer to fit it, along with a bipod, stock became loose) and a Weihrauch HW100S, (Nice, lovely mag and shot, just prefer tactical stocks, that's all).... I can buy any air rifle, just don't know what, was tempted with the Daystate Air Wolf until I just saw how many problems people are having lately Quote Link to post

andyfr1968 772
These are very nice Isp spartan http://isp-airrifles.com/page5.htm With a starting price of two grand for a rifle that's only good for between 22 to 35 shots??!! Gun porn's all well and good but this one's shot it's load far too early. 3 Quote Link to post
Daz 7 563
Ahhh but our Simon is a sucker for pretty rifles Me they can be Ugly like the HW100 or My Favourite the Rapid as long as their accurate ultra tough and reliable. Edited September 4, 2013 by Daz 7 3 Quote Link to post

daytyper 52
Regal 1 Quote Link to post
KurtH 74
I think I would like the Regal but when I asked if he had them in he said 'Yes, and no'.... 'What I have in is a Huntsman Classic, but it has the workings of a Regal, as unbeknown to most, the last 100 or so Huntsmans shipped with regal internals'.... Something tells me he just wanted a sale Quote Link to post

Something tells me he just wanted a sale No, he was right. I think it is probably more the first regals had huntsman stocks but there are some out there. Personally if I was buying a Regal I'd want it to say Regal on the outside! 1 Quote Link to post
trenchfoot 4,243
why not get a tactical stock made for the HW100? Quote Link to post
Andy_c 210
R-10 tac stock look awesome? Quote Link to post
KurtH 74
I love the look of the R-10, the shot count etc. But everybody seems to slate them, unless they've been tuned. I just feel you shouldn't need to have anything done to a new air rifle, or it isn't fit for purpose :/ Quote Link to post
KurtH 74
why not get a tactical stock made for the HW100? This was another option. I'd like the Daystate Regal or the HW100, but if I'm not a fan of wood so would probably get the stock dipped. Not sure if having them dipped is any good though, not seen a dipped air rifle yet Quote Link to post

Andy_c 210
Most guns will have a problem few but compared to what they sell it's a very low % Quote Link to post
