mr t 1
I got a New 14 amp belt pack 2day should I charge it or leave it till I go out Quote Link to post
AirgunGuy 362
I charge mine the next day after being out. Charge it til it's full then check it on the day If I'm planning going out that night. It usually shows as being full whether it's 2 days or 2 weeks later. If the battery is in good nick it should hold the charge. 1 Quote Link to post
THLpatrick 555
Can over charging affect your battery as I think I may have done this ffs Quote Link to post
swg dave 334
It depends what sort of charger your using, some chargers have lights on them that turn from red to green once charged, if your using a normal car battery charger when the arrow goes back to zero that tells you its charged.. AirgunGuy 362
Not sure mate. I think the more modern chargers will charge til it's full then cut off as mine does. Has yours got an indicator on it? The charger i use has a small led display that shows when fully charged then I think it stops charging. I normally check it every hour or so and switch off once charged. Quote Link to post
walshie 2,804
I use my motorbike trickler charger. You can leave it plugged in for months and it won't overcharge the battery. Quote Link to post
Con6212 155
As stated use a trickle charger there the best for lead acids. But always keep checking to see if its fully charged as the longer you leave it on once its charged the more damage it does to the battery 1 Quote Link to post
swg dave 334
Also i read somewhere that lithium batteries,if you have give them some welly on a night or two,s lamping, and you have run the battery flat, then with the Deben Lithium batterys, you must charge them within 12 hours, so dont forget people when your lithium runs dry, charge within 12 hours Quote Link to post
