Looks like I'm making no friends with my last topics, so can I get some ideas/advice on what you all think is the best breed/x for lamping. Only rabbits, out 3/4 times a week.

Collie whippet grey or collie saluki grey will cover most of what you want to hunt and the type of land you say you have .....

best lamper for rabbits i ever had in 41 yrs of keeping lurchers was a first cross border collie greyhound bitch off hancock, for rabbits only 3 or 4 times a week, ive never seen a dog make catching rabbits look so easy, all i used her for was lamping at a time when i was mad keen on it, i had her from 8 weeks old until she got killed at 6 yrs old

Yeah I'm not a fan off the collie xs but in a rabbiting dog I think it's defiantly a breed to have in there.

Best rabbit lamping dog I had was a Hancock first x by Richard Jones....and the irony here is that he was killed when he was just short of 5 years old....never emptied this lad's stamina tank....

i did av a sal/wip/grey best dog iv ran ferreting or lamping rabb but alot of time and work went in to him
