We have pieps and red box both as accurate. Me personally I prefer pieps with the beeping but be better in feet. The red one a bit bulky for the pocket but both far better than the deben

The bnf new box was designed for terrier location, it was given to a hunt terrier man who put it through its paces , the case is made to take the rigours of being used In soil the pieps was made for snow , its size is no hard ship it fit in to any bag you would carry nets etc or coat pocket , I personally would not want it any smaller from a practicl point of view its robust enough to throw about on the ground small enough to carry as accurate as i need with out the space invaders noise lol recharable and Simple to switch on and off , neg side the charger is a bit flimsy and finicky to use and the box shoud be a brighter colour And may be a clip arrangement on it for carrying , cost like any thing plays a part but i think its worth every penny
