Well i just spent a week in Ayia Napa mixing with allsorts of folk and often the'd here your voice and say "English????".......I dont think ive said the words "f**k off!!!" so much in a week........

My mate was born in Germany because his Scottish Dad was in the Army there and his mum is NI.....he certainly thinks of himself as Scottish....

Scotland's a beautiful country with a great history the more we can keep the f**k out the better, how can you be half Scottish lol your either Scottish or your not. Some lads just don't like the cold I suppose its something you've got to go out in if your keen enough, never phased me even as a kid but I suppose it separates the men from the boys. I can see the comparison though, hunting day or night in "bleak Scotland" as you put it with cracking views or in the dark not a streetlight to be seen or lamping at the back of a council estate in built up England, where the wind can't make yer wee fingers or tosey woseys cold, I know where I'd rather be.

If you remember the media were building it up as a " battle of the hardmen " type thing.......Dicks scored after about 5 minutes..................then Jones scored about 2 minutes later !!..............Apparently when Jones scored he mouthed something at Julian as he ran past but Dicks didnt know what he had said..........he spent the rest of the match trying to get close enough to Jones to find out/smash him up in the air ....but Jones was having none of it...................I never thought Jones was a particularly hard player anyway..............stupid and careless....but not hard............Julian Dicks would of cleaned him out 99 tackles out of 100 !!
