the best food you can feed is raw meet,

www.jeffs-tripe.co.uk

http://www.tpms.co.uk

http://www.landywoods.co.uk

thats a couple of websites. i use landywoods and never had a problem.

a thing you may need to consider when feeding raw is that you will need a seperate freezer as there is a minimum order of 36lb it seems alot but you can probs fit around 120lb+ in a standed chest freezer.

another good way to feed dogs is the barf diet (bones and raw food)

http://www.barfworld.com

i also give my dogs 1 cod liver oil capsule a day plenty of fruit and veg and somtimes add fish and pasta to there diet.

and when it comes to dry i would go for somethink with a high protein % around the 27-29% mark

i use hills science plan natures best

http://www.petplanet.co.uk/product.asp?dep...&pf_id=3716

you can also buy seaweed and other vitamins additives etc.

i think its good to give the dog variety.

hope this helps mate

ok mate but to be honest there is alot more experianced people on here and i have learned alot from them.

by the way landywoods only cost about 30p per 1lb of mince. its good stuff and doesnt take up as much space as you think.

i gotta agree with lash mate just raw with the odd bit dry when you boil meat you take all the goodness outta it if i were going to boil meat i would make a gravy outta the water and pour it over the meat so the dog is still getting some of the goodness
