moxy 617
Managed a couple of hours on the woodies today. They are in good numbers around my way at the moment out on the cut hay. I don't normally see such numbers. I had a job postpone and had the rapid with me so it was a good opportunity to have a little crack at them. No fancy gadgets, no bipod and no hide, other than the underside of the van. I dropped the first from out of the motor, re positioned it and tucked the wings in tight and put the head down. A slow and steady stream of interested visitors landed in threes and fours, which gave a good choice of shots and the bag slowly started to grow. After each bird was shot I started to assemble my pattern of decoys. Again, a reposition with the head down and wings tucked in tight. I must admit. I quiet enjoyed it as usually static or hide shooting isn't my thing. If I find another good hour or two, I may be back. Happy shooting Quote Link to post
