NEWKID 27,143
typical united fans...... ffs you have a title winning squad and your still not happy with your lot!!!!I'm happy mate, could be happier though! Fellani might not be the signing that Ouzil is for Arsenal but he's still better than most of our current midfielders so we have got stronger over the window.. A few years back United fans were crying out for us to sign him after he ran us ragged at old Trafford, now he's shit if you listen to most fans about the Internet.. Without doubt he's a good signing Malt, but I expected Moyes to be a bit busier, if players like Ozil were available we should be in for them, but we end up last minute paying over the odds for felaini, who was always going to sign anyway.... IMO he should have got the deal sorted ages ago and then went in for a real quality ball player... we've got a great squad but this is Moyes first season I just expected the board and him to go after a real Marquee signing, a statement really... I look forward to seeing the big man with the stupid hair in red though

The extra couple of mill that was paid over and above the price fellani once could have been bought for...was the exact amount Utd were trying to jib off Thiago's asking price, seeing that they tipped the extra up for fellani they might have been better served doing that for thier documented earlier target.. Bayern got Thiago for 25, spin it anyway and it dont make sense Edited September 4, 2013 by oneredtrim

WILF 46,777
It must be odd for you Man Unt fans this season, now the old boys gone who was in fact the backbone of the team and had a proven track record, you all sort of knew you were gonna be up there season after season. But, no longer.......you have a manager with to be honest, no track record at all......say waht you like, but he didnt set the world on fire with Everton so you dont know how its gonna turn out...........haha.......welcome to the real world boys As fans, I will ask you, how confident are you this season?.........IMHO, the Liverpool game was a "must win" for Moyes and he failed........all factors considered as a manager, I dont think you could even entertain the concept of losing that game....what do you reckon?
stewie 3,387
I can see Utd struggling this year i think its going to be a 2 horse race between City and Chelsea.................when did you ever see Alex Ferguson rushing around on transfer deadline day,you didnt he always got his business sorted out early.......3 games is no time to make judgement but i think the jobs too big for Moyes, besides which why was he so adamant on getting Fellaini and Baines neither of them are Man Utd quality.................yep definate relegation this year fancy taking on our little bet again gnash??? spice things up a little...... Top of the league and you need to " spice things up " ............Can do if you like......tell me where you want the money sending and i,ll get it in the post tomorrow long time to f**k it all up yet.... Lol
oneredtrim 148
To be fair to the fella his 4th spot finish in '04-'05 was worthy of note, don't sound much but not many teams other than the recognizables manage it..in the premiership era.

Lol I dont know if your a man u fan or not but if you think mediocre/just staying alive is good enough for a team like United and makes you first choice to manage them, then I have to wonder if you have any idea about competative sport. You do realise that competative sport is all about winning things dont you? We are not talking about the West Hams or Evertons or Fulhams of this world where any run in a cup is just as much luck as judgement and something to be enjoyed by the fans as a rare treat, we are talking about 1 of the 4 teams that actually have been in the running for silverware year after year. I personally dont think united would regard a year without silverware but finishing in the top 4 as anything to write home about do you?.........dont get me wrong, I am a hammers fan and would be over the moon with top 4.......top 6 come to think of it, but this is the biggest club in the world, its a long way from Everton As fans of teams like my little Hammers and such like, we get our highs and lows on a game by game basis and hopefully win enough to keep us safe......we cant think about CL, EPL, FA Cup or any of that stuff But what I am saying, united supporters have not had to do that for over 20 years.......they have always had the luxury of thinking about winning the league or the CL or the FA Cup.....its been a very real prospect for them. So my question was, are they feeling the same this year or will it be enough just to do OK?.......Because, IMHO teams like Unt should be doing more than "just OK" Edited September 5, 2013 by WILF
bracken boy 584
I agree with some things you say, even thow what we, utd, have won over last 4, or 5 year we have only been just good enough and could should do better, am i sure moyes is the man? Very not sure as for utd but what moyes did for everton for me was a fantastic job for a very poor team when he started, you must remember one thing only one team will win but shoudnt stop us thinking what a great job the 2nd team did, when man city won the league they played by far the best football but how well the 2nd team did to take it to the 93 minute of the 38th game . WILF 46,777
Fair reply matey, you think he did a good job at the toffees and my opinion is that it was adequate but nothing really special What the big man did for Aberdeen, now that's what I would call special All the best
bracken boy 584
Agreed on.the aberdeen miracle and also what forest did for that chap brian.
