End result of the nights lamping.

 

Once frozen they are chopped smaller,

 

 

Then in the shredder...

 

 

 

Then bagged for the freezer.

 

 

Took all of today to do. All 3 freezers are now fit to burst, dogs & furts fed for the next few weeks, and not one rabbit wasted.

I think Woodga took about 20 home for his furts. And i had about 10-15 already in the freezer....so almost 100.

Nice one Bit of fur does them good ,Why do you freeze them first we used to smash them up with a lump hammer and then mince them everything except the guts

Because i couldnt afford a good quality mincer, someone told me about this particular garden shredder, they use it and it works really well. The meat has to be frozen (like wood) otherwise it goes all gooey in the blades.
