I need help plz

hey people,

 

im getting some sheet netting and its 6 meters by 35 meters, im going to cut it up in to 4 strips

and im not sure how to join to two ends together to make two 70 meter nets. as this is the first time

i have done this im open for any tips.

Hello Cookie,

 

That is a very good question. While you are intrested to learn about joining two nets together i am intrested to hear about repairing a hole in a net. So any advice or tips would be a very useful to this thread.

both are easy to do, but hard to explain on a pc screen.

 

1, attach your twine coming from your neddle to the last mesh knot on one edge.

 

2, pass the neddle up through the first mesh on the other net, leaving the same length of twine as mesh requiered and throw a knot (half hitch) as normal but pass the neddle through the loop twice for extra security.

 

3, now pass the needle back to the other net and repeat the process all the way to the top of the net, working in a zig zag fashion.

 

to repair a hole its the same princerpal once you have cut out the dammaged meshes.

hi there mate i used fishin line to do mine and it wored if that halps
