Ain't poaching and a lot of forms of dogwork a crime these days? Would all stop hunting fishing or shooting tomorrow to remain within the law if it was banned like coursing and foxes???? So a guy that works all his days wouldn't dream of stealing yet who's only vice is to hop a fence with a lamp and a mutt is a criminal and not decent??? There are arseholes who will never break a law and there are decent folk who commit crime, it's who you are that makes you decent not what laws you break lol

top post. given my current situation then yes i would say ther are decent criminals i have worked full time since 14 and took a year for collage.work as a gamekeeper for nearly 7 years got paid off 6month back but did not and will not singe on the dole ive lived of my saveings for 6 months ive a clean record and dont drink ime not violent i would say i was a good lad (as would every one who knows me) but times get hard,dads ill mams ill rents behind dogs need vets ect i need food

so i catch a couple of salmon to sell to help the house along and get nailed for it. am i scum? i dont think so

, will i pay for it? i already have

ive lost every thing ive ever worked for for 20mins of foolishness. and i belive ive already recived my biggest punishment for this "crime" i saw my 57year old dad cry for the first time in my life, any other punishment i recive will wain in the light of this

 

feel for you-im not ashamed to admit to breaking the law to feed/provide for my family they come FIRST But i would never steal from someone who had no more than myself-if that makes sense-jumping a fence for a few rabbits,game dont make you a crook in my eyes-the scum that feed from other peoples misery-robbing sheds,cars,houses kids f***ing bikes etc-another mans tools,stock are the lowlifes and need sorting-having a drug problem is no excuse-no f****r forces you to take them and commit crimes-thats my take on it-ordinary decent criminals?they died out 40 yr ago.atb

what about the gangsters who rob drug dealers? and vigalantes? are they "anti-criminals" because in the eyes of the law they are criminals...

Always makes me smile these type of threads, like there is a distinction........listen, you have good lads and you have scumbags........both can be "at it"

 

Let me tell you, I wouldn't talk to the scumbag but if I was chatting to the good lad I would still be listening for all the angles because at the end of the day he is still "at it"........don't make them bad people but some lads first and last thought is how they can have a few quid out of a situation, its just the way they are wired.

 

Its hard to explain unless you have been around these people.

I have a friend who's a self confessed thief.

 

He's probably one of my best friends as we know the lay of the land between us.

 

He tells a funny story though. He has a cast iron three legged pot,complete with lid and handle for over fire. Keeps eggs in it from his hens.

 

I asked him how did he come by it. He tells me, with raised eyebrow, he found it up in someones attic "on a job" and that "they weren't using it".

 

This local woman calls up to him and sees it, wants to buy it. He doesn't like her so tells her to F off. She replies that she'll steal it off him some day he's gone from home.

 

He's fuming about this as he's telling the tale to me, I ask him, but sure, how did YOU come by it?

 

Frustrated silence is my reply.

If his robbed someone's house he can't be a mate of mine. Always believe your as good as the company you keep. I wouldn't ever grass and won't give it the big un about I'd give em a slap. I just would let them know what I think of em to the point where they know they ain't welcome in my company. Nonse or rapist are the only crimes I'd grass on and someone who's gave an old person a kick in. If they just robbed an old person me and my way of thinking I'd give em a kick in myself. Pleased to say I don't know anyone who'd mug and old person though so saying about company must be true.

 

Your right about robbing dealers and the police. Also if you rob a tv worth 500 you gotta sell it for say 200. Rob aload of drugs and it sells for the same value. It's common in my old area and was known as the term "run up". Police things true because you like have grands worth of stuff in your house n you wouldn't be thought about. Have a few ounces of even puff and they'd kick your door off. Never made sense to me why they come in with guns and what not. I know these are just young scumbags who are to thick to think. I always thought it'll be better to just break in when everyone's out and if caught by old bill your not looking at a firearm charge. Only sense in it is if you know the dealer to have money stashed away that's worth risking the charge.

Someone on my road not a mate but knew him to say hello for years thought he'd try dealing. Ended up his door being kicked off and guns pulled out. His 9 year old sister was given a slap aswell which is disgusting. Then again it says alot about the family if his parents would allow such thing to go on while he lives there. They got away with a few grand and came back for a second time. Not sure if they got anything the second time but he did carry on dealing after being robbed. Told him he wants to get a gun to which he said he aint going prison for murder. Told him if prison worries him he should change careers lol last I heard he signs on and makes music in his bedroom.

 

Crime pays until the day your caught. Most criminals as there is no employer are thick c**ts. Anyone can get into it and you may be smart and security wise but people you mix with may not think the same. They get watched and get you all dragged in and before you know it your amongst the scumbags and junkies wasting your years away. That's no life, least not one I'd ever want.
